What locations do you work in?

I am located in Godden Green near Sevenoaks, and  cover all the surrounding area.

If you happen to be located in slightly further towns or districts, please feel free to contact us and check availability.

How many dogs do you walk at any one time?

For safety reasons, we will only take out small groups of dogs on each walk. Up to 4 dogs maximum, providing each dog is a suitable match for the group.

Can you walk my dog on his/her own?

Yes absolutely. We do offer 1-2-1 walks with your dog alone.

Are you insured?

Yes, Hounds and Hooves hold a professional business pet insurance, including public liability.

Can I arrange to meet you beforehand?

Most certainly, I will arrange to meet you and your dog(s) before any bookings are made. This will allow me to have a chat and all get to know each other and interact. You will have the chance to ask any questions.

Should you decide to use any of Hounds and Hooves services, we will require you to complete a basic client consent Form.

Do I need to be home when you collect or drop off my dog?

No, general rule of thumb is most clients provide spare keys for us to access your dog(s) whilst you are at work or out. I am police checked for your own piece of mind, and obviously all keys are unmarked and are securely locked away.

What happens if my dog (or other person’s dog) doesn’t get along in the group?

Hounds and Hooves only except social dogs for group walks. Just to ensure that all dogs in that group enjoy a fun and happy outing. If we believe that your dog(s) do have any behavioural problems, we will suggest the private 1-2-1 walking service.

What happens if there is an emergency?

I hope this will never happen, but in the unlikely event of an emergency Hounds and Hooves will contact you to discuss the situation. If I receive no answer from any of the contact numbers you provide, and medical attention is required, I will transport your dog to your own registered veterinary practice, or nearest one if necessary.

What days and times do you work?

I are relatively flexible with times from Monday through to Friday. I tend not to do group walks over the weekends, but please contact me with any requirements and I will do my best to meet them.

How do we pay you?

Hounds and Hooves will accept cash, cheques and bank transfers.
